Refund and Returns Policy
At Sweet & Salty, customer satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. This Refund and Returns Policy explains the conditions under which you may return products and how refunds are processed.
1. Returns
You have 7 days from the date of receipt to return an item. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
The following items are not eligible for returns:
- Perishable goods (such as food items) that have been opened or tampered with
- Customized or personalized products
- Gift cards
- Sale items or discounted products
2. Return Process
To initiate a return, please contact us at order@sweetandsalty.in with the following details:
- Your order number
- Reason for return
- Proof of purchase
Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the product. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning the item unless it was received damaged or defective.
3. Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a product that is damaged or defective, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. We will require photos of the damaged item and packaging to process your return or exchange. In cases of damaged or defective items, we will cover the return shipping costs and offer a replacement or full refund.
4. Refunds
Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will process the refund to your original payment method within 7-10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
5. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within the expected timeframe, please first check with your bank or credit card company. If you’ve done this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at order@sweetandsalty.in.
6. Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us at order@sweetandsalty.in.
7. Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned or exchanged, including but not limited to:
- Perishable goods like food, unless the product is defective or damaged
- Personalized or customized products
- Gift cards
- Items purchased on sale or with a discount
8. Shipping Costs for Returns
Customers are responsible for the shipping costs for returning items unless the product was damaged or defective. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.
